Tiger Fork – Head Only

Back in the 1990s, Cold Steel’s President Lynn C. Thompson acquired a Chinese Tiger Fork, fitted it with an old rattan staff and trained with it for many years. He has long been interested in historical accounts and in how traditional forked poles were used and adapted in regional practice. After two decades of development and study, including work with Chinese martial artists, Lynn has produced his own version of the Tiger Fork for a modern audience. The head is made from carbon steel and incorporates an elongated central spike with inwardly curved outer forks to aid in securing and handling.
