Description
The Roman Gladius is a historically inspired collectible that reflects key elements of traditional Roman-era design. Cold Steel's interpretation is not a reproduction of a specific ancient example, but brings together several recognisable features of the form. The traditionally shaped, double-edged blade is made from high carbon steel with a spring temper and finished with a fine mirror polish. Both edges are fully sharpened, and the blade has a long-profile point. The carved Rosewood grip is decorated in a classical style. The wood scabbard is covered in black leather and accented with a solid brass throat, chape and carrying rings. Intended as a collectible piece for historical display.
