Scimitar

Inspired by decorative antique Persian blades, Cold Steel's Scimitar is a collectible piece intended for historical display. Its deeply curved, polished blade features a wide, deep fuller and is made from expertly heat-treated 1055 carbon steel. The blade is hand honed, and the piece is carefully balanced. The large S-guard and tang are intricately engraved, while the dark rosewood handle scales are secured with three sturdy brass pins. The bulbous pommel includes a brass-inlaid hole for a cord, lanyard or sash. The Scimitar is supplied with a thick, hand-stitched leather scabbard featuring an etched steel throat, chape and carrying rings.
