Inspired by a historical piece from the era of trade between French fur trappers and American Indians, Hanwei's Pipe Hawk is fully functional as both a hatchet and a pipe, featuring a steel blade, bowl and mouthpiece. As in the original, a reaming pin (for clearing the smoke passage) is housed in the head at the end of the shaft.
