Description
This is a replica of an English Civil War Tuck Sword, designed and created by John Barnet to museum quality. The tuck was an ideal close-quarters sidearm, capable of withstanding the rigours of hard use thanks to its short, strong blade. Its compact size made it easy to wear and unobtrusive when used alongside a musket or pike. Favoured by military personnel, short tuck swords were also popular with civilians, and were especially useful for personal protection when travelling and for general outdoor utility.
