The Legacy Arms Knight Riding Sword is a historically informed medieval sword inspired by early 14th-century German examples. According to Ewart Oakeshott’s Records of the Medieval Sword, near-identical swords appear on effigies including Arnold I, Landgrave of Cleve, dated 1320, and a hero-figure in Cologne dated circa 1308. Its compact proportions reflect the knightly riding sword form, making it an appealing piece for collectors, reenactment presentation, and medieval display. The 21" blade is hand forged from 5160 carbon steel and hand tempered, with the construction securely peened at the pommel. The wood grip is wrapped in black leather and complemented by a matt steel guard and pommel.
