This sword is a replica of the King Robert the Bruce double-handed great sword that was used at Bannock Burn in 1314 during the final battle that won Scottish independence from the English. It features a distinct angular pommel with a double wrapped and pinned grip, with an upturned cross guard featuring the Lion Rampant of Scotland. The long tapered blade is proudly etched with Robert de Brus.
