Halflang Broadsword Museum Quality

Evidence from 15th-century tomb slabs and grave effigies provides a clear record of distinctively Scottish single- and double-handed sword designs. The halflang is one such design and shares several visual features with the later Highland claidheamh-mor, or great sword. This museum-quality replica features a tapering, double-edged blade and a socketed guard with langets extending a short distance down the blade. Its quillons angle towards the blade, while the disc-style pommel has a characteristically concave face.
