The Great Sword-Unassembled 1 Blade + 1 Guard from Kingston Arms is a component-format presentation of the brand’s period-informed Great Sword, designed by CAS founder Barry Ross. Built around a 39 1/2-inch blade and distinctive double-ring guard geometry, it offers collectors a substantial historical display and assembly project. The unassembled set comprises one blade and one guard. The 1566 carbon steel blade has a straight, double-edged form, a flattened ricasso with twin grooves and a 14 1/4-inch fuller. It measures 6.5 mm thick at the guard and tapers to 2 mm at the tip. When fitted with the matching handle components, the complete Kingston Arms Great Sword design measures 56 1/4 inches overall. The supplied stainless-steel guard has a matt finish, a 15-inch span and tapering 12.5 mm quillons. Supplied unassembled for easier shipping and handling, this component set is intended for collectors and historical display. No sheath is specified or included.
