Named for Godfred, an 8th-century Viking figure, the Paul Chen Godfred Sword by Hanwei is a collectible piece intended solely for historical display. Its patterned folded-steel blade draws on pre-9th-century European designs. The interwoven leather grip is paired with a Damascus guard and pommel, while the leather-covered wooden scabbard features bronze detailing and integral belt hooks.
