Description
The Honshu Historic Forge 10th C. Norse Viking Sword is a historically inspired collectible that combines traditional design details with modern construction. Measuring 35 3/4 inches overall, it features a 29 1/2-inch double-edged blade forged from 1080 high carbon steel with a Rockwell hardness rating of 50-53 HRC. The wet-wrapped leather grip, three-lobed peened pommel and steel guard reflect period-inspired craftsmanship. Its point of balance is positioned 4 inches from the guard. Intended for collection and historical display, it includes a brown wooden scabbard overlaid with leather and fitted with a steel chape and wooden suspension loop.
