An impressively authentic replica of a Viking sword dating from around 900 AD. This hefty blade has a classic triangle style pommel and faux antler grip; a design inspired from the 10th Century replicating the typical Vikings swords of the time. The sleek blade comes complete with a black scabbard with steel fittings. The Vikings prized their swords above all other things. Typical Viking swords had fine blades, long, slightly tapering and double-edged – usually with a fuller running down the length. Sword hilts ranged from plain and robust to highly decorated and artistic.
