PSK Elite Katana

The PSK Elite Katana brings the CAS Hanwei Performance Series back with the established design qualities associated with the range, now refined with updated fittings and a cleaner presentation. Its refreshed tsuba, fuchi, kashira and menuki are produced from new tooling, giving the katana a crisp appearance that recalls the early originals while maintaining the dependable construction associated with the series. The PSK Elite features a forged 1566 steel blade with Shinogi Zukuri geometry and differential hardening in the traditional manner. With a 27" blade, 11" handle, 5" point of balance and a weight of 2 lb 9 oz, its proportions and construction support its appeal as a collector-focused example of Japanese sword craftsmanship. This model continues the heritage of the Hanwei name under experienced production hands at the Dragon King forge, carrying forward the knowledge linked to the original Hanwei Metal Factory.
