PSK Elite Katana

The PSK Elite Katana brings the CAS Hanwei Performance Series back with the practical qualities that made it a respected choice among Japanese sword practitioners, now refined with updated fittings and a cleaner, sharper presentation. Its refreshed tsuba, fuchi, kashira and menuki are produced from new tooling, giving the katana a crisp look that recalls the early originals while maintaining the dependable character of the series. Built as an all-round cutting katana, the PSK Elite features a forged 1566 steel blade with Shinogi Zukuri geometry and differential hardening in the traditional manner. With a 27" blade, 11" handle, 5" point of balance and a weight of 2 lb 9 oz, it is designed to offer versatility across a range of practice targets while retaining the consistency associated with CAS Hanwei. This model continues the heritage of the Hanwei name under experienced production hands at the Dragon King forge, carrying forward the knowledge linked to the original Hanwei Metal Factory.
