This Hanwei Viking Seax is sized just right to make it a ready and easily carried utility knife for everyday Viking chores and tasks. Carried horizontally at the back of the belt, the scramasax provided the spearman with both a close-quarters side arm and a tool and utensil in camp. The sharpened blade is crafted from tempered 65 Mn High Carbon Steel with antiqued finish and surface etchings done in the style of pattern welding. The blade is mounted into a grip crafted from stag horn.
