Description
The Ogami Katana by Dragon King is a collector-focused reproduction inspired by Ogami Itto’s katana from the Lone Wolf and Cub series. Developed under the influence of Dragon King founder Frenchie Jin’s long-standing appreciation for the story, this display piece combines recognisable styling with traditionally forged construction. Its 28 1/4-inch T10 steel blade has a 1-inch sori and is differentially hardened to HRC 60 at the edge and HRC 40 at the back. The understated mountings include a blackened cupronickel awabi tsuba, complemented by highly polished fuchi and kashira etched with Japanese Dogwood blossoms. The tsuka is wrapped in black cotton over white same and finished with silver dragon menuki. The sword is supplied with a black ribbed saya fitted with a black buffalo horn koiguchi and kurikata, a black sageo, and a silver steel kojiri etched with the matching blossom motif. A silver kozuka etched with Japanese Dogwood blossoms is also included. Please note that the sageo arrangement on the saya may vary from the image shown.
