Winter Sun Katana Forged

Forged from 5160 high-carbon steel, the blade is differentially hardened to offer a hard edge and more resilient spine, with HRC 60 at the edge and HRC 40 at the back. Its 1 1/2" kissaki, 1" sori and substantial blade dimensions give it a purposeful profile suited to serious collecting, display and disciplined cutting practice on suitable materials. The handle is finished with black tsuka-ito over real rayskin, matched with blackened fuchi-kashira and themed menuki. A black textured lacquered saya completes the presentation, giving the Winter Sun Katana Forged a refined monochrome look that suits both dedicated Japanese sword collections and premium display settings.
