Description
The 28" forged and folded blade uses a blend of T10 and 9260 steel, producing a clearly visible hada and dark hamon. A deep hi helps reduce blade weight, while the differential hardness specification of 60 HRC at the edge and 40 HRC at the back supports a resilient construction. The 13 3/8" tsuka is finished with black Japanese silk over genuine white same, giving the piece a traditional appearance and textured finish. The tsuba depicts Uesugi Kenshin and Takeda Shingen, while the black textured saya and black sageo complete the presentation for collection or historical display. Please note that the sageo wrapping on the saya may vary from the product imagery.
